Thermal printing is expanding to more vertical market and industry applications, and Datamax is maintaining a leadership position in printer design and performance with the M-Class. The M-Class is built on a uni-frame, die-cast aluminum chassis, increasing the printer's durability throughout a lifetime of high performance output. The truly modular design of the M-Class, unique to Datamax printers, allows options to be installed and removed in the field. Datamax printers offer versatility that is unparalleled in the thermal printing industry. Datamax builds products that provide value and cost savings to users, and the M-Class continues this legacy.

Multiple Interfaces
While a printer's design and construction is key to its durability, the ability to interface with an existing or new system is what enables truly seamless integration into any application. Standard connectivity interfaces for the M-Class include an RS-232 serial port, an IEEE 1284 compliant, bi-directional parallel port, and a USB port. Network users have many options, including a fully integrated, highly functional internal Ethernet card, or a more economical external Ethernet port. Datamax also offers DMXConfig, a desktop configuration tool that allows users to retrieve, modify, and update the printer's configuration without entering the printer's menu. Printer settings can be saved and sent to multiple printers if the application requires.
