The 1940L is an ideal solution for many public applications including gift registry, food ordering, airline check-in, DVD and bill-paying kiosks.

Wide-aspect displays like the Elo 1940L with 16:9 aspect ratio are easier to use and incorporate into commercial and industrial environments than traditional open-frame touchmonitors. Wide-screen format displays allow extra content on the screen and are quickly becoming preferred where a larger touch activated surface area is desired. Increasingly popular in public venue environments these displays deliver a high-definition cinematic-like experience. The new 1940L features an energy-saving LED panel, 170(h) x 160(v) viewing angle and 1000:1 contrast ratio for a bright display in a thin, compact, space-saving mechanical design.

Elo open-frame LCD monitors have a long product life because the enclosure specifications are controlled directly by Elo Touch Solutions. This makes future panel improvements easier to implement without having to make external dimensional changes. The 1940L has a compact form factor and optional rack- and front-mount bezels for easy integration. It features a high quality LED panel along with a unique, injection-molded mini-bezel with a virtually invisible water-resistant seal.
