The Honeywell Dolphin 7800 handheld computer, or enterprise digital assistant (EDA) is one of the few enterprise-grade mobile computers available on the market with the Android Operating system from Google.

As with all Dolphin 7800 scanners, this device is built for demanding mobile workforce applications that require industrial quality durability and usability. This Dolphin Android device features a Honeywell-enhanced Android Operating sytem, 3.5" outdoor-viewable color VGA display, and Adaptus Imaging Technlogy which allows both 1D and 2D barcodes to be scanned in difficult conditions. Additionally, the Dolphin 7800 Android features an integrated color camera which enables photos, image capture and video capture. For communications, in addition to 802.11 a/b/g/n for WLAN communication, this device includes options for GSM on AT&T networks as well as EVDO for Sprint and Verizon networks.

Lastly, to help in deployment and support efforts and reduce TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), this device is Remote Mastermind Ready which means that you can manage it remotely and track usage of installed device.
