The Honeywell Dolphin 99GX mobile computer is an industrial-grade device built for transportation and logistics applications. With its IP65-rated design and 6-foot drop rating, it is extremely durable and ideal for tough environments. This 99GX handheld computer is in Honeywells Industrial PDT line of mobile computers; it was introduced in June 2012 and with its gun-style form factor, it is an ideal solution for mobile workers needing industrial grade-durability. This device can be used within the four-walls-of-the-warehouse with its WLAN (802.11) capability or out-in-the-field with its WWAN (GSM and CDMA).

Some of the key features of this handheld computer include:

Improved coverage with on-the-fly shifting between GSM and CDMA networks

Built-In Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n)

Ability to not only scan 1D and 2D barcodes using Adaptus Imaging technology but also options for standard range (SR), extended range (ER) and small, high density (HD)

Multiple keypad options, camera (optional), standard and extended life batteries, and optional GPS

direct sunlight read-able ultra-bright 2.7 inch display

The Honeywell 99GX mobile computer was introduced in July 2012 and features Honeywell technologies including Shift-PLUS Power Management, Adaptus Imaging Technologies and support for Remote MasterMind software (optional)
