Product Overview
The Intermec 2420 is a full-featured terminal suited to inventory control, asset management, item tracking, maintenance management and other off-line data collection applications. The 2420 is built to last and will survive the repeated drops and rough environmental conditions found in manufacturing, distribution and healthcare and other demanding uses.

Industry Standard Language Tools
Applications can be developed using industry standard language tools; no proprietary languages to learn and support. The task is even quicker than EZBuilder, a rapid application development and prototyping tool that requires no programming language expertise at all. Fast data communications to a PC or host are supported either through a portable serial adapter or a desktop communications dock.

Power Supply
With its Lithium-Ion batteries, which is normally found in more expensive computers and laptop PC's, data can be collected for a normal shift or longer without a battery change. Recharge the 2420 gradually while the terminal is in the communications dock or quickly in a convenient multi-pack charger. Data will be saved for days in the event the main battery is temporarily or accidentally removed.

Power Supply
The 2415's long-lasting batteries will allow for a full day's work without recharging. Its state-of-the-art Lithium-Ion battery options are easy to recharge and can run 8 to 12 hours on a single charge. That makes the 2415 ideal for time-intensive applications, such as serialized inventory receipts, re-stocking inventory, and in-store audits. The high-contrast, scratch resistant display makes for easy reading in many environments. Best of all, the Intermec 2415 handheld computer integrates seamlessly into your system whether it is terminal emulation, client/server or web enabled.

Storage
Standard memory and volatile storage will satisfy most application requirements. For larger files, or portable data bases, add 2 or 4MB memory expansion options. Transform the 2420 to a wireless terminal easily with an RF module. Integrated scanners are replaceable modules for easier maintenance. The 2420 is a part of Intermec's 2400 family of fully compatible hand-held, vehicle mount and stationary shop floor terminals.
