Product Overview
The rugged 2430 batch and 2435 radio enabled handheld computers join Intermec's versatile wireless thin-client 2400 product family, which includes the 2415 & 2425 handhelds, 2455 & 2475 vehicle mounts, and 2485 & 2486 stationary computers . For years, customers from a variety of industries have favored the 2400 series reliability, ease of integration and inherent investment protection. Customers applications run seamlessly on all products within the family without the need to reprogram or recompile.
Reliable Scanning
Intermec's ergonomic 2430 and 2435 handheld computers excel in scan intensive applications such as retail price verification and cycle counting that require rapid, reliable scanning, while minimizing user fatigue. Additionally, whether in store, warehouse or factory, workers will appreciate the long lasting battery designed to provide full-shift productivity.
Easy to Use With a contoured shape and centered scan button, the 2425 is comfortable to use in either hand. The large display provides enough space for menus, help screens or even graphics. It is tilted to improve readability while scanning, and the alphanumeric keyboard provides tactile feedback with the frequently used numeric keys oversized for easier input.
High Contrast Display A large, high-contrast and programmable display accommodates applications showing up to 21 lines of 31 characters each. The non-glare, backlit screen is highly scratch resistant and easily readable indoors and out. The large display provides continuity and investment protection for customers whose applications require it.
Variety of Options The keypads for the 2430 and 2435 come in a variety of layouts, including function-numeric and full alpha-numeric options, with large elastomeric keys that provide positive tactile feedback and are engineered for unprecedented durability. A loud-to-soft customizable beep confirms scans in noisy environments. For greater scanning comfort and convenience, the 2430 and 2435 offer single-handed buttons, as well as an optional, removable piston grip handle. The battery can be easily changed even with the handle in place.
Support As with all 2400 series computers, the 2435 supports the WI-FI IEEE 802.11b wireless and TCP/IP standards, and can be factory configured with VT/ANSI or IBM terminal emulation. All 2400 series computers support Microsoft C++ programming for client/server applications, in addition to text based browsing via intermec's acclaimed dcBrowser and terminal emulation via Intermec's TE200.
