Product Overview
Continuing the industry's leading success of Intermec Technologies' pen-based mobile computers, the new powerful intermec CN2 is small enough to fit in a shirt pocket yet provides a rugged and reliable mobiel data collection terminal for your tough field computing applications. The Intermec CN2 offers features and functionality commonly found in terminals much larger and more costly. The ergonomic design of the CN2 allows for single handed operation. The pocket sized form factor makes it possible to carry almost anywhere data collection is required.

Customizable
The CE .NET operating system minimizes memory requirements, reduces complexity and allows the application developer to completely customize the user interface that is appropriate or desirable. CE .NET also supports mainstreem application development tools for starting from scratch or upgrading existing applications. For client applications, the forward-looking .NET Compact Framework and Visual Studio .NET development tools will minimize any modifications between different .NET devices that might otherwise be required.

Wireless Features
The CN2's WIFI certified 802.11 b/g radio, including a Cisco Certified Extension certification, ensures consistent performance by providing the best available wireless network throughput and reliability. Wireless security features of the CN2 are second to none with support for the highest level of protection using traditional WEP and the new Wi-FI WPA standard. The CN2 complies fully with 802.1x standards including the Windows standard EAP-TLS and PEAP, EAP-TTLS and the compatibility with many existing networks with LEAP support. This attention to wireless data security means the user can confidently exchange data wirelessly regardless of location.
