The Janam XG105 is a rugged workhorse for customers that need close-range and distance barcode scanning as well as reliable capture of barcodes that are damaged or underneath shrink wrap. With industrial-quality construction and the SE96X, Motorola's best-in-class, high performance scan engine, Janam's XG105 delivers unrivaled performance, scanning range and durability.

It is loaded with efficiency-enhancing features such as pre-installed Wavelink Avalanche and TE, well-spaced keys and mobile DDR memory. The XG Series features Summit WiFi radio, is Aruba and Cisco certified and delivers open air range up to 150' greater than competitive devices. And with the battery in the handle, XG Series products are incomparably light and balanced in hand, making them ideal for scan intensive, extended shift use in demanding environments.

Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 is the operating system of the Janam XG105. The processor is the Marvell XScale PXA320 @624MHz. The memory capacity is 256MB DDR SDRAM, 256 NAND Flash ROM. There is a user accessible microSD card slot for data expansion. The power comes from a removable, rechargeable 7.4V 2500mAH Lithium Ion battery. The dimensions are 7.24" H x 3.51" W x 9.07" L / 18.4 cm H x 8.9 cm W x 23.0 cm L and the weight is 24.4oz with the battery included. The display is 3.7" Color TFT VGA (480x640); 262K colors and the touch panel is an analog resistance type with stylus input.

The XG105 has an IP64 rating against water and dust and is able to withstand multiple six feet drops to the concrete on all sides across a wide temperature range. The operating temperature is 14 to 122 F / -10 to 50 C, while the storage temperature is -40 to 158 F / -40 to 70 C. It has a speaker and a microphone included and LED indicators at the top, rear, and bottom for alerting, as well as vibration and full audio alerts. The scan trigger for the Janam XG105 is a pistol-grip trigger that is located on the handle.
