The Motorola XR450 RFID reader is ideal for large-scale RFID deployments. In order to eliminate interference issues that are associated with multiple RFID readers being close, efficient tag reading is needed, which the XR450 provides. It is an easy to deply RFID reader and offers the ability to use four mono-static ports that need one antenna or four bi-static ports that need dual antennas for transmitting and receiving. Embedding software also makes the XR450 an intelligent RFID reader capable of managing RFID data.

Robust platform for EPCGen 2 RFID implementations

High performance RFID data capture and communication is provided in dense environments with the XR450. It supports either four mono-static ports or four bi-static ports. Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 and the Intel XScale process with 64MB RAM/64MB Flash make the software and its speed outstanding.

The durable construction of the RFID XR450 allows maximum uptime and can reduce maintenance and repair costs. Rapid collection and delivery of data is done with filtering, reconciliation, user-defined association, selective visibility and more. The data that is transmitted from the XR450 reader is secure over external network interfaces with secure FTP transfers to and from the reader.
