The four major types of Zebra wristbands are Z-Band Comfort, Z-Band Direct, Z-Band QuickClip and Z-Band 4000.
Zebra Z-Band 4000 Wristbands are thermal transfer wristbands made of a topcoated, pearlescent white, polyester material with a high-strength, permanent, acrylic-based adhesive. They are designed to work with Zebra thermal transfer printers and when used in conjunction with the Zebra 5095 resin ribbon, provide extreme resistance to smearing, abrasion, blood and solvents.
Zebra Z-Band Direct Next Generation wristbands have been redesigned with an adhesive tab closure on the end of the wristband so that the wristband is softer and more comfortable for patients to wear.
Zebra Z-Band QuickClip Wristbands are latex-free wristbands with a special UV coating. They are water-resistant and provide durability with resistance to alcohol, solvents and mild soaps. They also come with Zebras patent=pending antimicrobial coating as standard.
Zebra Z-Band Direct Wristbands have a UV varnish for excellent chemical and water resistance with a pressure-sensitive self adhesive closure. These products utilize direct thermal technology and do not require a ribbon for overprinting.
Zebra Z-Band HC100 Wristbands are for use with the Zebra HC100 direct thermal printer. These easy-to-load wristband cartridges feature an antimicrobial-coating which independent lab tests have confirmed to protect the wristband effectively against S. aureus, E. coli, P. aeruginosa, and MRSA Type II, III, and IVthe leading causes of hospital infections.
