The Datamax-O'Neil I-4606e Mark II Label Printer, introduced in March 2012, is a high performance industrial printer capable of printing in 600 dpi at 6ips. According to Datamax-O'Neil, the Mark II is designed to outperform any printer in its class with 20 percent faster print speeds, 44 percent faster processing and 61 percent lower power consumption. Additionally, this printer offers an impressive 50 percent more memory with 64 MB Flash and 32 MB DRAM as standard features.

With a 600dpi printhead, this printer is ideal for printing labels requiring high resolution, high density and/or small sizes as seen on printed circuit boards and other electronics manufacturing components. The 600dpi print resolution also allows for very small 2D barcodes.

One of the unique features of the I-class MarkII printer is OPTIMedia which helps you reduce printer set-up time by enabling the printer to automatically adjust its heat and speed setting to produce the best print quality.
